For sale is an original WWII US Navy Aviation Officer’s Visor Cap in green. Cap condition overall is near excellent, showing little use. No mothing, and no rips, however there is one very small area of fraying on the top left of the cap. Gold chinstrap is intact. Hat brim shows some use, and there is a tiny splitdirectly in the middle. Some of the stitching underneath the brim has also come loose, although that is only evident on close examination of the cap. Inner leather sweatband is in excellent condition, and cap is marked as a 7 1/4. Inner paper label is no longer legible, but underneath is the hat is marked “The Corry” White & White Pensacola. Cap overall is a bit dusty, and has some very minor discoloration on the top that should probably wash right out. We’ve elected to leave it as it came from the Veteran’s family to us. A very nice example of a hard to find USN WWII visor cap!
