If you bought a gun online:
Call us with the email address or fax number of the dealer you bought the gun from.
We will promptly fax or email a copy of our FFL to the dealer so that they can send your gun to us.
Please ask the dealer for tracking info, so you can track your purchase and know when it arrives in our shop.
Once your gun arrives, all you need to do is come in, fill out the proper paperwork, let us run a background check, and you’re good to go!
Our fees for transfers are $40.00 for the first gun, and $30.00 each additional gun in the shipment. This also includes your state mandated CBI background check fee.
How to legally ship a gun to another party:
Have the shop you would like your gun shipped to fax or email us with their FFL. Please make sure that the email or fax references your name and the model of gun to be shipped.
Once we receive a copy of their FFL, bring your gun in and we will pack and ship it.
Shipping costs are actual shipping costs + $40.00 transfer fee for packing and shipping time.
The other party then claims their gun at their dealer and does all necessary paperwork.
Private party transfers:
Colorado law mandates that most firearms sales between private parties go through a licensed dealer. Violating this law may mean prison time, a hefty fine, as well as a two year ban on you being allowed to own firearms!
For a private party transfer, both the buyer and seller need to come to our shop. We will need a copy of both parties photo IDs, and we will run a background check on the buyer.
Our fees for a private party transfer are $40.00 for the first gun, and $30.00 each additional gun, which includes the state mandated CBI background check fee.
