Original US Government Printing Office issued poster dated 1944 for the 5th War Loan. Condition is excellent, with expected folds from when it was printed and shipped. All corners are present and well defined. Bright color with no fading. Has a clean tear along a fold crease on upper middle for approx 1.5″ (not noticeable when framed or displayed.) Measures 20×28. Depicts two US Submariners shining a searchlight on night patrol, and is dedicated to the memory of the USS Dorado, which was lost on its maiden voyage in 1943. Note, the plexiglass seen in these photos was only used to photograph the poster in an upright position – this item ships ROLLED, and is just the poster.
