Rare USAAF 5th Air Force Australian tailor made Ike Jacket in olive drab. Condition overall is near excellent. Left arm has a tiny bit of mothing near 5th Air Force patch. A couple other tiny moth holes present on rear of jacket. One flat black button on coat has come loose, but is present in a pocket and just needs to be sewn back on. Includes standard US pilot sterling push pin back wings, Major bars, USAAF collar propeller devices, 5th USAAF bullion patch, and Australian RAAF wing on right breast. Since the uniform has an RAAF wing, it means that this pilot either served with or was honorably awarded the wing by the other service. Also included is an attached ribbon bar with a Distinguished Flying Cross and an Air Medal with Oak Leaves ribbons attached. Overall the jacket is in excellent condition, with the mothing noted earlier. There are some stains from use and wear on the lining inside the jacket, but they are relatively minor. Size of jacket isn’t marked, but approx 18″ armpit to armpit, and approx 21″ long.
