For sale is an original US military M1903 grenade launcher for the Springfield 1903 rifle. These were produced between 1941 and 1943 and are considered rare today. This launcher is in overall very good condition, retaining approximately 90% of its original parkerized finish. (These were parkerized by the factory when changed from 1917 to 1903 pattern.) This particular launcher started out as a Model M2 for the US Enfield M1917 rifle, and was one of 40,000 converted for use with the 1903 Springfield, and is properly stamped with the “03” overstamp on the model designation. Also marked with the Knapp Monarch stylized logo. Very few of these survive, and most reside in established collections, with few coming to market.
