For sale is a Colt Army Special in 41 caliber. This gun has a 6″ BBL and factory hard rubber grips. Condition on this gun is fantastic, with 96-97% bright original blue remaining. Trigger, hammer, and screws retain vivid fire blue. Screws appear unturned, and revolver is mechanically excellent. Bore is mirror bright, and gun overall shows little evidence of firing. Original Colt factory grips are likewise excellent, with no chips or cracks. Take a look at the photos provided, and please note that if you see smudges in the blue it’s just oil that smudges very easily in this Colt blue, and wipes right off. By serial number (311xxx range), we believe this gun was made in 1909. An excellent example of an early production Colt Army Special in popular 41 Colt caliber. This is a C&R eligible gun.
