For sale is a rare Soviet SVT-38 rifle in 7.62x54R caliber. Produced in 1939 at the Tula Factory, and so marked on the receiver. Matching numbers on receiver and trigger guard, with rest of serial numbers non-matching. Captured by the Finnish during the Winter War, and marked with boxed SA on left side of receiver. Correct and original side mounted cleaning rod present. Rifle retains approximately 70-75% original blue. Mechanically excellent with a very good bore. Includes a Soviet production, and Finnish marked magazine. Unmarked wood stock is in very good condition, with minor dings and dents from combat use. Not import marked. A very nice example of this hard to find Soviet rifle that saw only very limited service.
