Soviet WWII original combat boots as used by the Red Air Force and others who needed to work in a hazardous environment where sparks needed to be avoided.  Sole nails are of non sparking brass, as opposed to standard soles fastened with iron or steel nails.  Condition is very good, showing general field wear overall, but leather is still supple.  Soles show little to no wear, and are in excellent condition, indicating that while issued, these boots were not worn hard in the field.  Soles marked with Soviet maker’s marks and possible 1938 date code.  Would be proper to pair with a Soviet Red Air Force uniform, or a Soviet Armored Tank Corps uniform.
