For sale is a Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 29 revolver in 44 Magnum caliber. This gun was made in 1957 and is a 4 screw revolver. BBL length is 6.5″, and this gun was factory nickeled. Condition on the gun is very good overall, with lots of generalized minor surface scuffs. Overall finish rates approx 75-80%, with a few areas of minor pitting on the cylinder. Bore is very fine, and gun is mechanically fine as well. We noted that timing was off just a bit on one cylinder, and only when cocked very slowly. When cocked normally timing was fine. Original factory “Coke bottle” grips are in good condition, with some small dings on the bottom of the grips, and a larger chip at the front toe. Included is the original factory case with Smith & Wesson logo and blue interior lining. The case is in overall fair condition, showing fading of the logo, lots of scuffs, and overall storage wear. Interior lining is oil soaked and has lots of tearing. No tools included. This is a C&R eligible gun, and yes, we do ship to CA.
