For sale is a Marlin Model 39A 22 rifle, manufactured in 1941, as denoted by B prefix to serial number. Retains bright original case color on receiver, with balance fading to a pleasing grey on the lever. Wood is excellent, with light handling marks and minor scuffs, especially around toe. Fore end is excellent with only some very light handling marks. Original factory blue on barrel and magazine tube is 98+%. Excellent bore, with excellent mechanics. Includes original factory cardboard box, with matching serial number to the rifle grease pencilled on box top. Also includes original instruction card. Box is complete with end label, but does show expected storage wear. An absolutely fantastic and rare Pre-War Model 39A with the even more rare box!
