Japanese WWII Naval Landing Forces EM Field Cap in excellent condition. Retains original cloth chin strap and all original color with no evidence of fading. Hat appears unissued, as there is no staining or evidence of wear whatsoever along the inner rim. Original cloth maker’s mark fully intact with no fading. Maker’s stamp appears to date the hat to 1937 from our reading of the kanji, but we are not positive. Front sewn on anchor is likewise bright and crisp. It would be nearly impossible to improve upon this hat for condition!
