Standard WWII Japanese Officer’s Field Cap. Condition overall is very good, with some minor mothing at the rear of the outside of the cap. Leather chinstrap is present. Front sewn star is very vivid and displays nicely. Has fabric loops for rear neck flaps (flaps not present). Silk interior lining in excellent condition. Leather interior sweatband is well worn, and has come loose from one section inside the hat. Original paper tag is present inside the band. There is one very small area of fabric loss under the bill of the hat, and only noticeable when the hat is turned over and examined.
