Original WW2 Soviet black leather pilot’s flight jacket.  Extremely heavy black leather flying jacket in a large size.  This jacket is complete, and includes the original black leather belt which is most often missing in these examples.  Has standard blue accents at the collar with a single red enamel square on each side indicating officer rank. Left sleeve has sewn crossed sword and wings pilot patch.  Sleeve cuffs appear to be missing one adjustment button.  Inner lining of heavy cotton felt like material.  Overall condition is very good, with very tight seams, and wear to the lining, but no major tears or rips.  There is substantial drying and flaking of the leather, especially at the collar, and could use some curation.  This jacket would do well with some gentle conditioning, and while it displays wonderfully now, it could be made to look even better! This is one of the rarest of all the WW2 Soviet Air Force items, and would be a centerpiece for any advanced collection of WW2 Aviation equipment.
