CONDITION: Near excellent, 98% bright original blue, with likewise near excellent wood (some minor handling marks). Please see full description for condition details.

For sale is a 98/29 Persian Mauser made at Brno by CZ. Condition on this rifle is near excellent, with 98% bright original blue. Wood is likewise near excellent with some minor handling marks in the wood and retaining most of its original factory finish. Bolt is properly in the white and has no signs of corrosion or oxidation. Bore is mirror bright. Rear tangent sight is marked in Farsi and is perfect. Rifle has a small area of oxidation on the top of the barrel behind the front barrel band. Bolt and receiver numbers match. Wood stock has numerous Farsi characters on the left side, and the numbers on the stock do not appear to match the receiver numbers. Rifle is import marked on underside of barrel. Also included is an original CZ test target for a Persian Mauser dated 1934. Serial numbers on the test target do not match the rifle. Test target is in poor condition, but displays well and would benefit from a nice protective frame for display.
