Original WWII Japanese Army combat tunic for major. Overall very good condition, showing definite combat and field wear. Retains original collar tabs for an infantry major. All original buttons are present. No mothing. Has a small hole at the rear of the right armpit. Left shoulder has an area with what appears to be a small burn mark and two holes. There is some minor staining in the same area on the collar. There are also a couple very tiny holes, one on the back bottom and one on the left sleeve. Finally, there appears to be a small blood spot on the right bottom of the jacket, which is not visible when jacket is buttoned. This is a very rare and very presentable example of a definitely combat worn Japanese officer’s jacket.
