Size 36″ x 25″. Original WWII issue US Recruiting Poster with iconic Uncle Sam pointing and “I Want You” text. Condition overall is very good, showing expected wear and use. Upper left corner has a professionally repaired approx 6″ tear, but has been conserved long ago with a strip of bookbinder or paper tape. Right corner has an approx 2″ repaired tear as well. Middle of upper border has a very old tape repair (done from the back) on an approx 1/2″ tear and nearly invisible. Poster has an approx 1/4″ divot out of bottom border, but not noticeable at all when framed. Colors are bright and vivid with no signs of fading. A very presentable example of this extremely desirable poster! Ships rolled, frame seen in photos was only used for photographing and is NOT included.
