For sale is a Hatfield Kentucky Rifle in 50 caliber, with a 39″ BBL. This is a flintlock Kentucky Rifle made in the 70’s or 80’s. Condition overall is very fine, showing minor field use. Original barrel brown finish is in very nice shape, with minor high point wear at muzzle, and spotting at the breech end from black powder particles. Lock case color is bright and excellent. Mechanism works perfectly, as do double set triggers. Curly maple stok is likewise in very nice condition, with only minor handling marks and a few small scattered field dings here and there. Original ramrod intact. Bore is dusty and could use a cleaning, but the rifle appears to have been properly cared for after each time it was shot. Overall a very nice, affordable example of one of the highest quality modern flintlock rifles available.
