For sale is a custom 7mm Mauser rifle built on a DWM receiver from the Pre-WW1 era. This receiver was one of the very few to come to the US from Germany in the Pre-War era, and is marked “Spitzer Bullet” as well as having a Crown N commercial proof. Magazine floorplate matches receiver number. The gun was professionally built as a sporter in 1958, and a Douglas barrel was added. At the same time the gun was professionally reblued. The rifle is drilled and tapped for a scope. The stock has gorgeous grain in the wood and fits the gun wonderfully. Rifle is in 90-95% condition with a few areas of thinning blue at the muzzle and on high edges. Also has a few small scuffs on the barrel. Stock is excellent with a minor small handling marks. Bore is bright and action functions great, with an great trigger pull. Safety is a low profile type to allow it to be used with optics mounted. This is a C&R eligible rifle.
