Complete and exceedingly rare all original example of a British WWI 1918 dated Mills Bomb. This is the No. 23 MK III variant. Condition is Very Good overall. Still has some original red or orange paint still on the grenade. The handle, base plug, and body are all maker marked “HB” for Howard Bullier, meaning this grenade is original “as issued” and not put together from parts. Baseplug is threaded for rifle grenade rod. This grenade is completely inert, but has all original parts, and is the best example we’ve seen.
