Original British leather cold weather flight mask as used during WWI. Overall condition is excellent, showing no cracking or drying. Left side and chin area has a few small areas of staining where it appears something got on the mask. Rear retaining straps are intact, although without much elasticity left in the ribbons. Based on the construction, we believe this to be a British example, as US and German examples differed somewhat in the construction, especially around the eyes. Would really complement an original British flight suit from the same time period!
