German WW1 trench art on a 77mm German casing.  Has a royal crest depicting a crown with a stylized TR, which could possibly be for Theodore Rex of Prussia. This is a very rare and interesting piece, since not many trench art casings depict political or patriotic themes. This was very tastefully done, with meticulous craftsmanship.  Condition is excellent, having been polished at some point.  Base markings are faint but legible.
